DTF transfers are a great way for you to stock up on designs that can be stored for later use. Heat apply to nearly any fabric that can take the heat. Perfect option for On-Demand apparel and headwear needs. DTF Transfers work well on rain parkas, non-woven toes, and other apparel that is problematic for screen printing or embroidery. Heat application to cotton, blends, polyester, nylon, rayon, leather and more. Prepress the area where applying the trasnfer for 8-10 seconds at 300 degrees. This will remove excess moisture and wrinkles from the material. Place the transfer where you want it applied, and heat press 15-20 seconds at 300 degrees at medium pressure around 60% or 6 on a Hottronix Fusion press. Allow the cold peel trasnfers to sit for at least a full minute after removing from the heat press. Start peeling from the edge that has the heaviest print coverage and peel toward the side with the least amount of print. If you notice anything not sticking to the substrate you are applying you may have a cool spot on the heat press. Just lay the transfer film back in place, adjust the garment position on the heat press 10% and repress it for 20 seconds. After peeling you will want to heat press the garments 1-2 more times with lighter pressure and 30-40% or 3-4 on a Fusion heat press and place wax paper or a teflon sheet over the print so it does not stick to your heat press. This will allow more of the ink vapor to escape making the prints last longer, and feel softer. If they have a rubbery feel simply heat press them a few times to help soften them up.
Your print area is 11.25 x 12 inches for this or if you multiple sheets use the DTF-23x12 product that is 2 sheets as long as your print does nott exceed 11.25 inch x 2 to get two off on the 23" wide rolls of material. Submit files via email using Wetransfer.com or Dropbox if files are over 12 MB. Lay the designs out with 1/4 inch spacing so you can comfortable cut in between. You can store these for use at anytime in a dry location out of direct sunlight.
